Equine Spa

The equine spa is used as a rehabilitation aid for horses that have suffered from minor injuries.  The horses stand in cold water (known as cryotherapy) whilst warm heat lamps are used from above.  This form of drug-free treatment has been demonstrated to be effective in a range of lower limb problems, reducing inflammation and speeding up the natural healing process. It is also pleasant for the horses.
